The history of Artigiani Veneziani is based on the resourcefulness and love for their work of the Agostini family, dedicated to the development of entire collections and the creation of leather accessories with the care of the ancient craft tradition preserved in the Brenta Riviera, cradle of this ancient craft.
Artigiani Veneziani embraces three generations united by the passion for a secular art that has become a family tradition involving their whole world, a world that is in perennial becoming like the ingenuity of the designers who shape their creations.

Mastering a raw material such as leather means knowing its essence, characteristics and possible evolutions during the production process. Our mission is to nurture this tradition that is the soul of the Made in Italy skill and transmit it to young talents who wish to cultivate this art that deserves to last over time.
1970
The young model maker Orfeo Agostini decides to start his own business and opens his leather workshop with his wife Maria Gabriella: it is the beginning of the adventure of Venetian artisans based in the Brenta Riviera, the cradle of the craft of leather processing.
1980
From the meeting of Orfeo with a footwear entrepreneur in the area comes the brilliant intuition to create coordinated bags and shoes with his own brand and for third parties: an idea that will turn into a collaboration destined to last for years and that will win prestigious brands.
1983
His son Andrea joins Artigiani Veneziani, bringing with him a new energy of enthusiasm whose fruits can be admired in the company that is today, cutting-edge and internationally recognized. Her creative and innovation-sensitive nature for almost forty years always feeds new synergies with the protagonists of high fashion.
1989
Artigiani Veneziani begins to benefit from the valuable contribution of Silvia, Andrea’s wife, who enters the company to take care of accounting but with her professionalism will become more and more a central figure alongside her husband in the growth of Venetian Artisans.
2005
The expansion of production capacity with the associated growth of the figures involved culminates in the transfer to the current headquarters in Fossò, which takes on the role of the beating heart of a company projected towards the future.
2010
In order to meet the increasing number of requests for partial and secondary processing, Artigiani Veneziani takes over a leather workshop in Slovenia and transforms it into a state-of-the-art factory with staff trained directly in the company.
2018
To foster synergies between tradition, experience, and talent, the Atelier Artigiani Veneziani was born in Florence: an environment designed to support young designers in the design and development of individual products or entire collections.
2019
Mattia, the son of Andrea and Silvia, the third generation of the Agostini family enters the field to give life to a new era of Venetian craftsmen, which aims at developing the company’s vision 4.0.
